And as always, check the product’s tag for care instructions to keep your tee looking fresh. We also have more tips under our Care tab on how to look after printed apparel. The size chart is in the images—Measure to be sure! Since we only accept returns for items that arrive damaged or as a misprint, it’s important to follow all provided sizing and care instructions.

How to Care for Your POD Apparel

  1. Wash Cold: Use cold water on a gentle cycle to protect the fabric and print.
  2. Turn Inside Out: Turn your apparel inside out before washing to prevent wear on the design.
  3. Avoid Bleach: Skip harsh chemicals like bleach to maintain the print's colour and quality.
  4. Dry Low or Air Dry: Tumble dry on low heat or lay flat to air dry for the best results.
  5. Skip the Iron on the Print: If ironing is necessary, avoid the printed area or use a low-heat setting with a cloth between the iron and the fabric.
  6. Don’t Dry Clean: POD apparel isn’t made for dry cleaning—it can damage the print.

With these easy steps, your custom apparel will stay comfortable and look great wash after wash!

DTG (Direct-to-Garment) vs. DTF (Direct-to-Film), what on earth do these terms mean?

DTG (Direct-to-Garment):
Prints ink directly onto the fabric, like a high-tech inkjet printer.
Best for cotton and natural fibers.
Feels soft to the touch since the ink soaks into the fabric.
Ideal for detailed, colorful designs on light or dark fabrics.

DTF (Direct-to-Film):
Prints the design on a special film, which is then heat-pressed onto the fabric.
Works on a variety of materials, including polyester and blends.
Creates a vibrant print that sits on top of the fabric.
Perfect for bold designs and fabrics that don’t work well with DTG.

How to choose the best fabric for you!

DTG Printing and Fabric Compatibility

  • 100% Cotton: Best choice for DTG. Vibrant, soft, and absorbs ink perfectly.
  • Cotton-Polyester Blends: Good for DTG if cotton content is high. Lower vibrancy compared to 100% cotton.
  • Tri-Blends (Cotton/Polyester/Rayon): Usable but results may be less vibrant due to synthetic fibers.
  • 100% Polyester: Not ideal for DTG; requires special treatment and results can vary.

For the best print quality, stick to 100% cotton or high-cotton blends.

What does it mean when it says that the price has been Reduced?

At Dopamine Hits, when you see "Reduced" on a product, it means we’re sharing our savings with you! Thanks to cost reductions we’ve received from some of our print-on-demand partners—like special rates for paid subscriptions or discounts we qualify for—we can lower the price for you on a more permanent basis. This isn’t a sale; it’s just our way of being fair and passing on the benefits.
